Outside Sales Representative

As an Outside Sales Representative at Coast Pneumatics, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth by establishing and maintaining strong relationships with customers. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, promoting our products and solutions, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a proven track record in sales, and a deep understanding of pneumatic and automation products.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Understand customer needs and provide effective solutions using Coast Pneumatics' products and services.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and address any concerns.

Sales and Business Development::

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the assigned territory.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets through proactive sales efforts.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize revenue.

Product Knowledge:

  • Stay updated on Coast Pneumatics' product offerings and industry trends.
  • Provide product demonstrations and technical information to customers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address customer inquiries and provide accurate information.

Market Research:

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and opportunities.
  • Analyze market conditions and recommend adjustments to sales strategies.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market intelligence.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.

 

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in the pneumatic and automation industry.
  • Strong knowledge of pneumatic and automation products and applications.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to travel within the assigned territory.

 

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant sales experience.
