Solid State Air Pressure Switches

Help your operation reach optimum efficiency and extend powered equipment longevity by providing the right energy levels at the necessary time using solid-state switches from Coast Pneumatics.

Solid-state switches cycle power to a load circuit upon receiving a control signal, allowing smaller current loads to produce large current. Solid-state switches enable facilities to power heavy or industrial equipment that require voltages exceeding normal switch capacity at specific times. When voltage is applied to the input of the solid-state switch, it is energized and the output is turned on at the precise voltage occurring at that time. Removal of the input power disables the control circuit and the solid-state switch is turned off when the load current passes through the zero point of its cycle. Our solid-state switches are adjustable from 0.5 to 100 PSI with a maximum signal pressure of 100 PSI. Supply voltage is 4.5 to 24 VDC.

Solid-state switches have no moving parts, which eliminates mechanical wear and tear on contact surfaces and bolsters equipment longevity. No moving components and the inability to generate sparks or electric arcs make solid-state switches ideal for harsh workshop environments.

Coast Pneumatics’ customer service staff is available at all hours to field questions and help pair clients with the best solid-state switch for their operation.
